I created a thread for this project a few years ago but I've noticed that my original pics have gone into cyber space so I shall create a new thread and delete the old one. My original idea was to replicate a medieval hand drawn bread oven like I'd seen in a medieval re-enactment photo. This cart later collapsed so I thought that I'd have a go. The only cart i could buy with my limited funds was an old Governess card which was sitting and rotting in a farmers field... I had to remove the wheels to get it inside my unit. Here are a few pics of my recent progress... Terry

Thank-you Chas. "how are you going to get it out?"....I have a cunning plan. I have placed the body of the cart on timbers, which my pallet truck forks can get under. I can pull it into the foyer/next room of my workshop where I have rigged up a gantry on the existing rail which was already on the ceiling of the unit in the unit. The rail extends I meter out onto the road. I have left 2 channels for straps to be strung under the cart. I can then hoist the cart high enough in the road so as I can carry the wheels out (they'll only fit through the door sideways....not width ways.) I can then attach the the whole under carriage while still in the air and then lower it down to the ground.....then prey that it doesn't all collapse.
Terry
p.s....I'll post pics of the gantry set up with my next progress report.

Progress on the Governess cart/Pizza Wagon..... After covering the rough clay outer brick edge of the dome with vermecrete and putting a 1" thermal blanket over this, I added a layer of chicken wire and then put a 2" layer of vermecrete over that. I added an entrance arch and now I must drive all the moisture from the bricks, vermecrete and refractory mortar before even thinking about re-mounting the cart on it's wheels. I thought of using a "space heater" but they cost £50 to hire so I fired up my Stonebakeovenco demo oven and transferred the hot embers into the cart oven. I then got a little ambitious and threw on a few kiln dried hardwood logs to create the correct amount of heat that was needed for a gentle curing fire....nothing has cracked so far. Terry
