Hello all, after a year or so of dithering and procrastination have finally got started.... base poured, first few courses of brickwork done, hoping to get the hearthslab done this weekend and then we'll see how it goes. Am attempting to follow the Alan Scott guidelines in the Bread Builders book, after many repeated reads and scratches of head, think I have finally pieced together what he is getting at... they're not the clearest instructions ever! No real questions at present but I'm sure some will turn up... will try and post some pictures as I go...
