The info on this site has given me the confidence to buld a fire brick dome oven. The only problem I can see, well not a problem more of a decision do I go half brick or try and angle cut the bricks ? see how much time I have... I do want to use it as a slow cooker as well so I presume good insulation will be the key top and bottom ? There is one question I was thinking the flue would it be best to use fire cement round it so that none of the finish render gets too hot ? Or do I fire brick round it
