Hi I am Myke I live in west yorkshire and yes you have guessed it I am building a pizza oven, I am at the planning stages and have "lurked" around this board a week or two so decided to join.
Unsure exactly what type I will build as keep changing my mind was going to do the easier barrel shape but think I will now do the dome.
Going to concentrate on the base structure while searching for my firebricks.
I work long hours so may be a slow build but will keep you informed and provide photo's.
Oh and if I carn't find the answer here will ask.

been looking at Kiln linings but only need calsil board and ceramic blanket site says minimum order value of £200 can anyone confirm this? and do we still get a discount?

The £200 stands, I ordered today and the discount threshold has been raised to £750 (!) but you may be able to sweet talk them. A couple of other suppliers I turned up are Vitcas and Castree. Google and they'll come up. They both do a wide range of stuff . May be worth putting a shout out to others planning a build in your area, then arrange a combined purchase.

Managed to get 3 full boxes of ceramic blanket off cuts/roll ends 25mm and 50mm insulfrax so thats the insulation sorted. I would have had to cut the insulation anyway to get it to fit.

I'm also in West Yorkshire. I've just recently bought bricks. vermiculite and ceramic wool from a firm in Sheffield www.intocast.co.uk/ they don't have a 200 quid rule and it's just a short drive down to Meadowhall for me. Delivery prices are better than kilnlinings too.
