hi,
i'm here to gain a wealth of knowledge, i hope you guys and girls can be of help. so please excuse my ignorance in terminology
I've laid a concrete base and want to build an oven, I've got a basic design in my head to use the materials I've got so far.
the main thing I'm missing is an oven floor and the knowledge of what i can and cant use to make it.
thanks

Heater blocks from night storage heaters are a cheap and effective material for an oven floor, can be bought new but are readily available used on eBay or Freecycle. I paid just over £4 for 50 odd, nearly killed my car as they are very heavy. They come with a flat side and a ridged side and are approx 7" square, try and get the same style ridge as the different makes vary very slightly in dimension.
