Hi there - we are a local friends group in heart of sheffield - volunteering for our community- we have just started a Parish oven project - Build and Bake- as part of Sheffield's Year of Making . We are building a cob dome oven on the edge of South Street Park ( which has an open air amphitheatre) for the community to use. I personally bake bread, teach people to make bread and have cooked with wood fires for years. Looking forward to learning more and bringing our community together through making ovens, baking and eating bread. The aim is eventually to have enough community ovens in our neighbourhood that at least one will be fired up each weekend for people to bake bread they have made at home. I wondered if there is anyone on the forum who has done a similar thing and who has experience to share?
