Hello all,
I've just got rid of a greenhouse and want to build pizza oven and pergola in the space. I cook all the time but I'm not a DIY expert, I know I'd like to have a brick oven though and have it insulated so I can cook all manner of things. I like the idea of brick on the outside rather than stucco (?).
Looks like this site will hold the answers.
If anyone is in the Falkirk/Edinburgh area and can share design ideas or hints and tips I'd be grateful.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi Quinny I'm not in your area but... A good idea might be to have a look at the fornobravo plans pinkbird.org/images/b/b9/Pompeii_oven_plans.pdf. This will give you some idea of the materials and dimensions of the project. It will also give you a choice of a Pompeii oven or a barrel vault oven. The finish generally either follows the 'stucco' route or the 'dog kennel picasaweb.google.com/115426447285405371194/WoodFiredOven. Just a few things to think about.

Hi Quinny,
I'm in Dalgety Bay and am about halfway through my build. Maybe a little more. I've got two of three oven arches up now and the oven floor laid. I'd be happy to show you round my build if you wanted? There's a link to my build in my sig. althought it's a little out opf date.
