We were catering at an event recently and were experimenting with a few desserts during a quiet spell, our favourite was a simple banana (sliced lengthways - Banana Split style) placed in the wood fired oven for about a minute, the natural sugars in the fruit browned the banana. We then topped this off with some Pistachio ice cream, my god...it was so good! The hot versus the cold, very simple and very easy.

Blind bake a pizza base and then spread liberally with Nutella (other chocolate spreads are available), add a few sliced strawberries and you're good to go. Definite surprise factor for people who have never had a sweet pizza before. I'd add a picture, but it never seems to hang around long enough...!

We are fans of s'mores...digestive biscuits topped with marshmallows ( Morrisons do giant ones !) and a square of chocolate / spoon full of Nutella on top. Sticky but nice!
