Depends how much mess I make on any given Sunday... Think this ones just dwarf walls but a lot of them we do now have the solid insulated roofs put on them, supposedly make them cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter

Finally managed to make a litt bit of progress yesterday and today after an unexpected but welcome day off. Cut and fitted my insulation board yesterday then cut my firebrick floor. Then had a nightmare trying to come up with sensible way to lay the hearth. I didn't want to just lay dry on insulation as its not perfectly flat and the firebricks aren't as consistently sized as I expected Tried laying them with a thin bed of lime motor but hadn't antisapated the insulation board be so ridiculously porous that the muck was unusable after a split second. So decided to bed on dry screened sand bed, this didn't go too well either as was getting pissed off by this point so called it a day
