  after lots of work and plenty of advice I have finished the oven. Just needs a clean down with some brick acid. how long should I leave it until I fully fire it at full heat after the final render coat. Cheers jon |

Low and slow is the general rule; a week of increasingly larger fire should see you ok. Start with paper and a few bits of kindling, then build it up over seven days; it is important to let it cool between firings as it allows the trapped moisture to migrate through the structure.
