Hi All,
Does anyone have any insulation blanket in the Devon / Somerset area?
If not where is the best place to purchase from?
Thanks
Rich

Hi both,
Thanks for your help. I was looking at the Superwool product as it claims to be body soluable with the fibres, has anyone had any experience with this stuff as it twice the cost? Cheers Devon.

Hi both, Thanks for your help. I was looking at the Superwool product as it claims to be body soluable with the fibres, has anyone had any experience with this stuff as it twice the cost? Cheers Devon. Ceramic fibre insulation used to be classified as a Class 2 carcinogen (tumours produced in lab rats but none reported in humans). Thankfully because of the Germans strict controls, since about 2005 industry developed a new generation of CFB which is partly body soluble and has larger fibres. Because of these characteristics these newer generation products are exonerated as hazardous. Superwool is one of those and it's what I use.I work as an art teacher and CFB is not allowed to be used in kilns in schools (in our country). Unfortunately the regulations have yet to catch up with the newer developments. Check the MSDS on any of the CFB products you're interested in purchasing.
