Hi All
I actually purchased one of the Veneto Modular ovens from Liam at UK Kiln Linings (very friendly and helpful, thanks Liam) back in December but have been waiting for the weather to improve.
Now i have missed the long Easter weekend I really need to crack on but unfortunately my wife has decided I also need to include a full on patio to house the oven. Not being a builder i will get some help with this element but hope to get started within the month.
I will post a couple of images of the location and also I used Google SketchUp to help with my design...what a fab free tool that is.
I will let you know how it goes James

Hi jwyno,
I'm a few steps infront of you in terms of build. Nice looking project you've got there!
The best advice I'd give you is to get some hefty help when lifting the cast pieces into position. I have made my oven floor really high at almost 1.2m from the ground, and lifting the dome into position was a bit hairy. Also bench pressing the cap into position is fun (make sure you've got someone who doesn't eat too many pies doing this - I just about managed to fit under the arch!)
Have fun with the build, and please post photos.
Cheers,
Steve

Hello James......welcome aboard.
Love the design.....looking forward to following your build. If in doubt....please ask......there's usually somebody on the forum to give advice.
