Hi All - thought i would join this forum as i think i may get expert advice on my new build. I plan to build a smoker oven with adjacent drill, both fuelled separately. So many questions....... - Can i use Celcon blocks (external render finish)
- What is the thinnest insulation i can use
- Who makes stainless steel doors
yadda yadda yadda....... Anyway its a high from me, I know I am not building a pizza oven but still home I can gain some support in the design and materials on my block-work smoker. Cheers Gavin

Cheers Gavin Gavin- -celcon blocks absorb water, I'd avoid and go for dense concrete aggregate blocks; - most sites seem to say 50mm of fireblanket or more if using vermicrete etc; - try googling steel fabricators, sure there will be one nearish Gatwick, d

Thanks for the advice, what about lining the inside with say 36mm firebricks bonded to the inside of the concrete blocks?
