Cutting curves in brick

I want to cut the oven floor bricks to fit inside the dome, what is the best way to cut a curve in the brick. I have halved my dome bricks with an angle grinder and bolster for the oven build.

I personally use an angle grinder with a diamond blade, cutting progressively smaller triangles until the basic shape is achieved, then using the side of the blade as a grinder to get the curve.
