Hi I'm finding it hard to source dry clay powder locally but have the chance of wet clay. Is it possible mix wet clay with dry mixture used in homebrew?

Find out wher Bricklayers get their supplies. The cheapest form of clay should be the clay they sometimes use to improve the mortar workability. It should be marked “Bricklayers clay” or something similar. Another source is pottery suppliers. Ask a local potter where they obtain their supplies. Powdered clay is very commonly used to make clay casting slip. Adding plastic clay to the mix won’t work as it will not mix in.
