I have been looking for pizza oven tools , found some on ebay but not sure of quality. Has anyone got got any links for reasonable tools and thermometers? Thanks

The cheapo grey and yellow infra red thermometers on ebay are surpisingly good, mine said it was only rated to 380 degrees but it goes upto 600 and tested with my mates posh one its only about 5-10degrees out.

Depending how you manage the process, I've found that having 2 peels works best: 1 to transfer the pizza into the oven and a smaller one which is used for turning the pizza.
I invariably cook one pizza at a time and tend to get a guest to look after the cooking and turning part of the process whilst I do the making part. No shortage of people willing to help, in fact usually the opposite.
