I’m naturally getting larger gaps between bricks on outside of dome. About 15 mm. I know my refactory cement recommends only 5mm. Could I add fire brick grog to mix for those gaps or maybe wedge them with off cuts. Would either of these ideas be ok.? I’d hate my dome to collapse on fireing. I’d really appreciate your comments before start build. Thanks Hally.

Wedging will work but you really need to query why you are using refractory cement which is way over specified for a WFO ?
A WFO maximum temp will be about 560c but refractory cement is meant for kilns etc where temperatures will exceed 1000c, you really don't need it; instead use 'Homebrew' which is perfect for a WFO and much cheaper than refractory. A typical recipe would be 3-1-1-1 by volume of sand-cement-clay-lime, its easy to work, much more forgiving than refractory and cheap. It will also fill those rear gaps just fine and dandy.
