Hi everyone, At the moment i have a Maximus Wood Fired Oven but heat retention is poor! So looking to upgrade. Any suggestions welcome, i have researched many but going around in circles.
Looking at Amigo Ovens but im not 100% as id like a tunnel entrance so thought of adapting it.
Then looking at the P85 from Melbourne Fire Brick Company! Now available in the UK. Love these but pricey compared to the Amigo!
Thanks in advance.

This info was given to me by the Melbourne company. They will sell for just under £3k As soon as i find out more i will let you know. Dafydd

why not just apply insulation to your existing oven? I have thought about this, but between the inner and outer layer is sealed so could only add around the outside! Which barely gets hot. Therefore i can't see this option working. I have also found that 'rock wool' which they use is a bad insulator for wood fired ovens. So would be putting money into something that is already a bad product.
