hi all, i started using a new hob, it has 4 rings (2 medium 1 small 1 large) they appear same as any other hob i have used using various pans/pots all have the same problem of not heating up in the centre of pan as fast and to the same temperature as the outside. using a small sauce/egg boiling pan on the smallest ring has a cold spot in centre. what am i missing, so far the only way to safely/accurately use it is to only use medium/large size pans on the small ring the hob was checked by an engineer who cleared all the pressures etc.. the gas appears very powerful with clear roaring on high power capread.com
