Hi all.
been a while since I posted, I have been enjoying my pizza oven over the summer.
I’d be interested in people’s thoughts on how best to keep an oven bone dry over the winter. I have a decent tarp, leave door in etc, but pretty sure it’s a bit slower to heat up at the beginning of the year. My guess would be moisture in the air over our long, wet winters.
i’ve been looking at silicon products, Crystal cat little (could even use rice), but thought i’d ask if anyone bothers to do this (alternative is a few fires at the beginning of the season I guess).
cheers
david

Best way is to use it every other week. I find it keeps it great. Also build a gazebo with a polycarb roof, this keeps the water off very well. You could fill the oven with straw? or, Solar panel running a light bulb inside?
