Have had to postpone the weekend cooking weather on sunday looks biblical, had planned a village pizza party, but sadly have had to cancel Anyone elses weekend plans scuppered? Cheers Marcus

Doesn't look too bad up here Saturday so hopefully I'll be able to fire up and get a bit more practice in. My mission is to be ready for the Jubilee Party my missus is organising so I need to be proficient by then.

I think I'll be nipping out when I can - I have 4 bricks to lay and my final vault arch is complete. talk about rubbing it in! I've had plenty of time this week to do it as well, but the rain....

Oh the irony; yesterday I bought a 500W halogen site light to stick inside the vault once it's complete to help dry it out. Overnight the gales ripped the tarpaulin off, the oven got a right drenching

ohh dear, I had planned to be building on sat,even had a friend over. Luckily the gazebo managed to keep us dry ish. Couldn't face more on Sunday as the wind was bringing the rain in sideways.

I managed to mix a few barrows of vermiculite insulation concrete yesterday morning before it got really bad, all this morning driving around collecting materials for the build. Tapir, sorry about the tarpaulin fiasco
