We are fairly new to making Neopolitan pizzas in our wood fired oven. Last weekend we attempted to try some long dough sticks to dip in Nutella, however, these turned out to be more like charcoal coloured caterpillars! Does anyone have any tip on how to manoeuvre small bits of dough such as these and dough balls (pizza express type) in and out of the oven quickly and moving them about to cook?

I would try a pizza pan to put them in, you can also get pan grippers making it easier to from the oven to the side,
