Hi,
I'm currently building an outdoor kitchen along the 5m length of my patio. It's made from an oak frame will timber t&G walls on 3 sides. I have a depth of about 700mm for a pizza oven to the back wall so I've been looking at the Victas Casa pizza oven as it compact....
Has anyone got one of these, are they any good?
Would love to hear your opinions.
Thanks,
Del

They look well made apart from having a small chimney opening of just 100mm i would want 150mm on even the smallest model.

There is not much choice as far as i can see, you can buy a certain model that seems popular with quite a few people on this forum but be aware that they are made from insulating material and wont hold heat for very long!! The only other high mass oven i can find is this one www.woodovenwarehouse.co.uk/product/napoli-wood-burning-oven/#mouth-arch and it looks like the best currently available .

Hi Fox,
Many thanks for your response. My plan is to switch it to a 5" twin wall flue as soon as possible from out of the oven as It' will be going through a timber roof!
What is the other "certain model that seems popular with quite a few people" you are referring to?
Thanks

Do you mean 6’’ twin wall? I am still not convinced about having a 5’’ opening, my first wood oven had a 5’’ chimney and would smoke out the front quite a lot! I cant find much feed back about the Vitcas or the woodoven warehouse model but i would prefer a dome in at least three sections and wonder if these models crack over time. I might be being a bit picky but a wood oven is quite an investment and is worth studying before you buy.

Of course you may like the www.pizzaovensupplies.co.uk/pizza-oven-kits/ they are 4’’ thick refactory cement and insulating perlite mix and will heat up fast but wont be hot the next day. This design might well suit your needs.

Many thanks for your further input. The link you posted looks great, the only issue is I only have a depth of about 750mm and the only oven I can find is the Victas Casa oven as it's 550mm deep! Can't find anything else less than 900mm deep. I do get your point though!
The only other option is to completely cop out and buy a gas fired Ooni Kona 16 :/
