Calaf.
toiling with sizes in my head.
I was thinking that when i get to building I want to base my build on yours but where you have 4 bricks deep i want to make it 3 deep the barrel and the same width as yours .
And what about if i put my chimney where you have the half brick going down one brick lower from you r barrel . You have your chimney one half brick further again . Whats the pro and cons re that you have your flue /chimney further etc
If you build it again will you have the 4 bricks depth re: size that one really utilizes and time to heat etc .
Thank you

Last week, Mark went into Hospital again. Unfortunately he wont be able to update this oven forum for a while. I know how much he enjoyed chatting here so I thought it best to inform everyone.
A neighbour has kindly offered to finish the oven roof in the meantime.
Regards

I sincerely hope all is on the mend with Mark.....
I'd just like to add that even in Mark's absence, his thread is an inspiration to many....members and newcomers/guests alike and it's not often you see a thread from any forum that receives so many views.....over 9000.....and rising steadily.

Oh no, I've only just seen this. Did think the forum had been an awful lot quieter of late.
Get well soon!
