Evening all
My spring project is to build a pizza oven - so says shmbo - anyway. I'm fairly competent at building but haven't a clue how to build it or what's the best way/materials. The other half wants clay - I imagine this may need a lot of protection from our weather - I want one that I build and it's there for life. Any comments or pointers where to start please let me know
Hoe everyone had a great Christmas

Hi Tom, click on the Home button (top left) and scroll down where you’ll find a wealth of advice on wfo types and construction. Personally, if I wanted longevity I’d go for a brick dome, but the choice is yours. Whatever you choose, ask any questions as most have been answered before.

As said have a read of the forum builds and choose a method that you think suits your skill level or ambition. Worth a look on the Forno Bravo site also as there are loads more on there. Lots of American based builds but the principle is the same. Personally for longevity I wouldn’t go with a clay or cob oven so the decision is brick or modular really.
