That's a bit like mine - originally it was supposed to be finished by our wedding anniversary (end May!!) but now I am planning to have it all done for my daughter's birthday on the 13th July - bags of time yet (or is it just a few weeks away now ?!?!?!)

Ok, here's what i "think" i need for the oven.
150 Firebricks, which includes some extra. 2x Tubs fire Cement (or is it easy enough to mix my own??) Insulation jacket Chicken wire to hold the insulation jacket on Heatproof paintable render
Anything else?

And a chimney, not sure what i fancy building that out of though, my father in law is a catering engineer so i was going to task that one to him - probably a stainless steel effort i think.

150 bricks is going to be a 32" oven?
I would mix homebrew as the pre made stuff is not as good with large gaps, so unless you plan to cut each brick to fit, it may be more trouble than its worth. For the homebrew you will need fireclay, hydrated lime, cement, sand. (mix ratio 1:1:1:3)
You will also want sand and fireclay to lay the hearth. (1:1)
and vermiculite to make a vermicrete render over the top. (6:1 with cement)

The internal measurements are coming out about 700mm square - Just writing that figure makes it sound massive, is it??
Ok i'll look into all that gear.
Thanks to everyone so far in pointing me in the right direction - how did people actually cope without forums back in the day?!?!

Ok, sorry should have looked at the mood board in more detail I think you would be better to place the bricks lengthways for the arches to make them stronger, you might use a few more bricks but nothing drastic. If you are counting from that model then I would check you have used firebrick sized bricks and not brick sized bricks, my firebricks are 9" long 2.5" deep and 4.5" wide I think. Dont forget to add some for waste, and last min design changes.

C'mon man, pay attention to the mood board... ;D
Yea, it's scaled to the same size as you said - so i think it should be accurate enough.
I was concerned about the arches and i was going to change it to lengthways as i noticed that everyone does it that way - but hadn't changed the sketch.
I'll probably put in an order this week for the bricks etc, so i'll need to work out quantites of fireclay/vermicrete too.
I love it when a plan comes together.

I used just over a bag of fireclay on my 30" pompeii, and just over half a bag of hydrated lime. Don't do what I did and buy far too much of everything!!

Alright then, it's definitely going to be 150 firebricks then - and seeing as it seems simple enough to mix the homebrew cement.
I'm thinking about:
How many bags of vermiculite should i buy to render over 1m square area? And what kind of sand do people use. I've got a fair amount of building sand already, would that work?

Terry suggests sharp sand for the homebrew, I used builders sand and it did shrink and crack a little but was very smooth to work with and still set firm with the bricks (time will tell). I used 2 bags of vermiculite for a 30" oven and this was a little tight, I managed 2 thin layers and no idea on the actual thickness, I just ran out of space to apply it as I am really wedged into the corner.
Are you planning to build a house round it and loose fill the vermiculite or mix it with cement and make a hard crust insulation layer?

I like the smooth finish with sharp industrial lines so i'm just going to render over the oven as it is. My garden is quite moden looking, and i think that building a "house" round the oven is a traditional look - they might clash.
I managed to finish the bbq frame last night, so thats all covered up to dry (glad i did because it's hosing down today).
Next on the list is to order the oven bricks etc, and render the oven base before i start building the decking around it - then onto the oven!! I think a month to build the actual oven might be a bit toight...
