Got a day off at last when it didn't rain too much and I could finally give the oven the attention it needed to be 99% complete. All I have to do now is make the wood store door and latted floor. I've been curing jhe oven in the last few weeks to get rid of any winter (and early spring!) moisture, so weather permitting we are ready to cook for the oncoming summer and beyond ;D Attachments:

congratulations. Sounds like you have the curing all planned which is good, it really helps performance and damage control. now all you have to do is master the art of making the pizzas, its tough work and I think will need many attempts washed down with some beer or a glass of wine

Nice job.in all the years I've been following wood ovens none have ever got near the price of these ovens. I checked his feedback on eBay and he sells loads every summer. I don't know how he does it for the money.

It's a very basic kit, but I got mine for about £450 delivered, so no complaints there. The pieces of the oven are really heavy and dense, and are about 70-75mm thick so I don't think he skimps on the refractory concrete. It performs well, so again no complaints.
