Currently re-laying the patio and looking longingly at pictures of WFOs in the hope that I will one day be able to afford one.....
I have reserved a 4 foot square space in one corner in anticipation.
Edit - I have noticed that there is already a Fat Bob so I had better change my screen name!
Edit 2 - I'm now Tubs Lardy.....

welcome aboard :-)
the first stage is identifying a location for the wfo. It need not be a quick build, the slow burn build is great on the wallet but can lead to domestic friction when the garden is left as a building site... This I know too well. ;-)

Hello tubs.......welcome to the forum
There are many of "US" who have gone down the economical route of completing an oven build. You can use old storage heater bricks or reclaimed full red clays....or build a clay oven. Whichever route you take try to make the cooking hearth fire-bricks....
