I couldn't find a thread that acted as a gallery for log stores, and given it's a necessity for a wfo I thought I'd see what people have. I'll be building a log store now the weather has started to warm up, and I'd like to see what other people have for some ideas. I've got plenty of spare pallets around and can buy anymore timber if necessary with Jewsons crazy discount for timber.
I'll be looking at either one large, or multiple smaller log stores, even though my oven has 1 medium (back) and 1 small (front) one built in to it.
I'll be sure to add my pictures when I've built them.

Built this in december out of off cuts from my decking. Nothing special but it works. About roughly 2 and a half ft by 3ft tall. I have it now filled half with kindling for the chimnea and half hardwood for the pizza oven.

Well my wood is nice and dry, the oven is suffered from heavy rain and a holey tarp battering against it in the wind... The roof just slots over the raised ends covering a kindling shelf. The rest is just an open sided frame on top of a pallet base keeping my logs away from the damp ground. I'm inspired to make something similar to cover the oven too instead of the tarp...removable roof/cover... No pics of the kindling cage I made to store grape cutting and other twiggy kindling... Ripping the pallets apart was the hard bit... reconstruction was quite easy
