Hello,
I'm new to this forum. I've joined because I am planning to buy a castmaster pizza chiminea and wanted to find out more about its capacities. I'm not yet sure whether to buy L or XL though. I will try to find some information on this elsewhere in this forum, but if anyone could direct me to a useful threat, that would be great.
Thanks, Sian

one of our member Paul has a castmaster xl and has a blog with all his escapades and developments. nobreadisanisland.blogspot.co.UK/you might have to search a bit round the blog, most posts are a culmination of all the info related to that topic rather than constant new posts, Paul is a proper evangelist so I am sure he would be happy to offer specific opinions or answer questions if you have them. welcome aboard btw, I hope you enjoy your stay, we cater for all outdoor cooking not just large masonary ovens.

ilovewales I'd never seen that Hacienda chiminea before - I have to say it looks pretty good. It's got several advantages over mine: I like the steel doors and hinges - mine, unfortunately has broken on one side, although it's still usable with care. Looks like it has an oven thermometer in-built, which is a great feature. The wheels make it much more manoeuvrable. It looks altogether a more professional job. I can't see the weight of it, but it's got to be lighter than mine (I take mine up on the Quantocks once a year). I think if I was buying one today, I'd go for the Hacienda. HTH! Cheers, Paul Ps. Forgot to say - what a lucky husband he is! Read more: ukwoodfiredovenforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=introduction&action=display&thread=373#ixzz1vPqY18GWhere it is hope that helps
