We lit up the oven and did a bit of baking this weekend. I normally just do pizzas with maybe something else on the side. But this time we decided to forgo the pizzas and just do lots of other things. As a vegetarian family one of the main reasons I made the oven was sometimes BBQ's can be a bit dull. With a wood oven you can do so much veggie stuff all the carnivores are jealous. Plus I am a bit of pizza fanatic and you just cant beat wood fired food. So we decided make a day of it. Some roasted aubergines and in the back ground some flat breads stuffed with feta, onion, thyme, parsley and oregano. Some Artichokes Roasted with lemons and in the background some roasted spuds waiting to go in A cottage loaf and a wholemeal poppy seed loaf to finish off. The tandoori paneer / haloumi didn't last long enough to get a photo off!

Good too hear you have discovered Tandori Haloumi it is one of our family favourites. We make our own paneer and also use Haloumi in Matar Paneer.
Have you tried roasted Cassava in the WFO with a sweet/sour tamarind sauce?
My wife will be interested in your Artichoke with lemons - last night we had artichokes with freshly foraged forest mushrooms in a deep dish with a crunchy top.
Tonight we had cheesey mustard cauliflower and for afters fresh strawberries from the garden.
