Hello from Manchester. having recently done a job for jamie Olivers wood oven outfit, I thought I wood (sorry) look into the oven thang a little more. I specialise in stone effect wall systems and faux stone finishes. Being a cook of sorts, I intend to build an outdoor oven as soon as I can, and will add stone FX to the exterior. Unfortunately the JO experiment didn;t work as they wanted to move the oven to exhibition sites etc, and it fell foul of a mad stacker truck driver. (twice). Just thought I wood say hello and stay tuned to see new developments. [/img] Just wish I could make a living out of jobs with Stone Effects, been hard out there this year. No work since that one....

Hello Stonefx....welcome to the forum
You'd have thought that Jamie Oliver's lot would be more organised as it's a good while since he took over the trading name from Orchard ovens.
Was invited to attend a film shoot about WFO's at Jamie's home in Essex last year by Danny Macullock, but it was cancelled at the last minute and never received a call back ....oh bugger!
Hope you end up building one for yourself....go on.....go for it.
Terry
p.s....I believe I've swapped e-mails....or spoke to you once before....or follow you on twitter???. Can't remember where.

.. You must build your own oven to yopur own specification .. you'll feel that you have then achieved something in your life and it will be there for many years to come so put your name and date on it .. Good Luck To All Selfbuilds & God Bless You All .. ! ! ! !
