This could allow the use of blanket more easily between the dome and outer arches? It would definitely stop bits of blanket falling down on top of your pizzas I am not sure that a rigid blanket would be required over the dome - as it is not subject to mechanical abrasion or direct contact with moving gases. Might allow mobile ovens to be clad solely in blanket though, as it would stop the blanket falling apart over time. Let's see if someone uses it and get a bit of feedback Any technophiles out there fancy a pop?

I thought it might help to stop it collapsing slightly under pressure from applying the Vermicrete mainly?
Fit the blankey, then apply this stuff with a pump sprayer, wait til it hardens off, then get Vermin!

My understanding is that the fibreboard is essentially the same as blankets with hardener .
