Hi So, I have settled on 2 choices. I either buy a kit from wood fire gourmet, ceramic blanket and board from kiln linings and a chimney from eBay. Or buy a ready made oven from someone on eBay (they have good feedback) and add extra insulation as above on top of their already rendered oven?
Any thoughts?
I may build a dog kennel type cover for either oven and cover the oven with blanket and then loose vermiculite rather than render? Or should that be as well as render?

Ok The oven kit I was going to get is 1230mm in length. Then add 25mm blanket, 100m vermiculite and half brick arch and that works out to just bigger than my base.
So if I did away with the vermiculite cement render but enclosed the oven in a house and poured in loose insulation. Would that be enough?

what is the oven needed for bread, pizza or both.
any picks would help understand the words.
have you discounted a self build.
well worth spending some time on "choice of oven". not to be rushed.

not sure, but are there bargains to be had for remaining stock over the winter period?
