Hi, First post - after much lurking... Hope you guys can help!
How many kilos of fire clay are needed to make enough homebrew for a 36" pompeii?
Thanks!

Welcome to the board.
I think I used almost 2 bags on a 42" ID self build, I think the bags were 25kg each.
Good luck

i scraped in at a single 25kg bag for my 31" for the small cost relative to the total I would say get two bags

I used a bag and a half on my 30 inch oven. For some reason (not even known to myself!) I ordered 4 bags, so I still have two and half bags left! The lime is much less dense than the clay, so you probably only need one 25kg bag, unless you're planning on using it in your render too.

Thanks guys - I ordered two 25kg bags from Kilnlinings, just to be on the safe side... Just need to decide on a door - I feel another post coming...
