Hi all, there seems to have been a growth in sourdough interest on the forum so I thought I would share a link to a good website that has proved a good source of bread recipes for me and others (you may already be familiar with it) - its Nils' blog Ye Olde Bread Blogge. There you will find all manner of well researched European sourdough formulas, hybrid formulas (sordough + a kick of commercial yeast) and overnight sponge methods using commercial yeast. A few that have been a firm favourite in our kitchen are: All day sourdough Fruchtebrot lovely at Christmas German Country BreadYou can also purchase the whole collection on Kindle I believe. Happy baking, doughslingers Matt

Thanks for that - will investigate!! I've previously mentioned The Fresh Loaf as a source of recipes and support Another fun site (not just for sourdough) is Yeastspotting: www.wildyeastblog.com/category/yeastspotting/which showcases breads and rolls / sweet baking each week, with links to the recipes - really fun to see what people are doing!! Hi Salilah, thanks for the Yeastspotting link, good one. Just lately I've seen some cracking recipes, via Twitter, from the Weekend Bakery , and the folks that run it are super friendly.
