had a bit of a cook in today for the freezer , when I cook my joint I slice them thinly and freeze them up in serving portions . today i wanted to knock up some pasties and stuffed pizzas for the freezer ( handy for unexpected guests !!! and pack ups ) anyway wanted to try something with the sliced pork ..... chopped up some onions and garlic and fried in butter added the pork which I chopped and some cubed cooked potatos,added a few teaspoons of my spicy cajun rub and a chopped chilli . used this as a stuffing for the pasties. I also made some vegetarian ones with kidney beans . It made a change having a really spicy pasty ....

pizza pasties have ermm disappeared !!! as has about a third of a loaf I knocked up but I have stashed some that Richard has not found !!! will get ipad out tomorrow and take as picture ( hot smoked some beef bones today and am cooking a pork joint on the rotiserie tomorrow so will take some photos of them as well ) but will have to do it on my ipad and I cannot post pictures from it so will have to beg someone to let me email them so that they can post them for me ......
