How sad to lose such a lovely oven - what are you replacing it with/why has it got to go?

That's got to be a huge amount of work dismantling an oven that size.

its a sad shame but if it has to go it has to go, the ovens are great for general baking and also with a Tuscan grill can make a very very good year round BBQ should you re-consider. I do think auctioned as it is it really it pot luck, if you break it yourself you should get good money for the refractory bricks and blanket. The house bricks might fetch a small amount or fly out your garden if listed on gumtree, as for rubble you might be able to gumtree that as hardcore, or use freecycle. Given the nature of this listing I think it might be worth giving some info on the access to your garden as that is a big part of the dismantling job, also setting out your expected time frame for the winning bidder to grab what they want or should you have trouble with them your fallback through ebay is probably harder. All the best with the sale, hopefully we can help you get some bidders although not exactly the norm for the forum, we also have some great section on other outdoors cooking and food in general so please have a mooch about and see if we can temp you in

Now if only you could pick the whole thing up and dump it in my garden - I would love to have an oven like that.
"Oven temperature: 0 - bloody hot" ;D
