I over-ordered when making my build... so even though the outside isn't finished, the inside is and I can start getting rid of the extra bags of material. I have a few bags of fireclay, grog (crushed firebricks) and HAC/CAC to get rid of (technically, I even have sand... but that's cheap and I'm still using it for the external bits ). To make my life easy, each bag is £10 - I'll check tonight exactly how many bags of each I have, but I think around 4-5 bags of each. If you take the lot, you can have some free sand or a discount M. EDIT: Location is near Uxbridge, West London. I can deliver in the area for fuel cost (potentially to liverpool as well if this client finally sends me a PO)

Nope, sorry Only material to make some refractory mortar here! (or a moulded dome). The grog is 42% alumina iirc (need to check). M,

Take a look at spinal's build thread and you'll be able to see how his uild went and what he did. Take a look through the other build threads too, they are very informative how do i find it? I must resist the temptation to put a famous meerkat quote in here but it is semi easy once you get used to our forum layout. This forum only shows the last few posts per user in their profile, some show threads they started which can be a life saver, but ohh well. On the main forum page we have a section for build diary's from 2012, Spinal did a pompeii (although you would not know that) then in the forum you can find the post he started, right hand column shows who started a thread and you can also see who commented last. ukwoodfiredovenforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pompeiiovens&action=display&thread=557here is a link as its far easier We also have a section with archived completed build diaries a bit further down off the main forum, again with the different oven type sub categories. Both those areas would be a good place to have a nose and check out what everyone else did and how they did it, most have a good conversational approach due to the question and answer nature of a forum.

Apologies for the delayed response - I'm on holiday and my internet access here is flaky at best. Haven't disposed of the materials yet, but my housemate (who's in the UK) doesn't have the keys to the car I store them in so you may need to wait until the 9th of January for me to get back! As has been said, my thread has a lot of pictures (need to update it when I get back, the outer wall is going up, and the vermiculite is going in... not finished, but close) Also, the roof is suffering a major change at "her" behest, and will probably end up being a green/planted roof... Remind me when I'm back, and we can meet up for a pint (and a pizza!) and I'll be glad to show you the oven in flesh and give any tips you may need. Suppliers: kerneos for the high-alumina cement the others I don't remember, but have written down somewhere... M.

Right, finally found a few seconds to check what I have...
I (stupidly) stacked everything, so can't see deep... but I definetely have 5 bags of HAC (ciment fondu, fire cement, call it what you will). 25kg a bag, so a total of 125kg for £50.
Obviously, you'll need to mix this with sand and whatever to make your mortar mix (or grog+fireclay). I have grog and fireclay, but until I move the cement I won't know how much!

Hey Rick
The easiest way to reply on our private buy/sell section is to register with the forum and then you can send any details via a PM (private message). That way you can keep phone numbers or e-mail addresses private.
Best of luck with the castable. (if you want your tel number deleted. please let me know.
