all i'd say guys is, please do not create too much of a beast. We're all extremely grateful for you to start and maintain this forum, and i for one wouldn't want it to become to high-a-maintenance to take all the fun out of it for you. keep up the good work guys, just not too much! ....spot on Danno.....I'm with you on that call and i will continue to try to build up this forum as one of the best WFO interactive forums in Europe....honest. We still need our forum to come across as an easy forum to read, navigate and be user friendly, so with the help of Calaf, Turkey and members suggestions.....hello Bob........we can get the best of both worlds. Terry

shouldn't there be a Forum for "mobile ovens"? Or is it considered to be part of the other forums? I'd really like to know about what people have built as mobile ovens. I have a ex-MOD Sankey 3/4 Ton trailer that I will consider building an oven on in the future.

A rolling slideshow in the members gallery would be interesting. The site looks great and is easy to navigate but it needs more photos to whet our appetite for ovens.
The logo is too big and quite rough. Clicking it should take you to the home page.
Some off-the-shelf downloadable plans would be a boon.

There's many people who sell them....also many people who use them in a proffessional way and many people who use them for events and fundraising events......there's an awful lot more who just want to know how to build one....for whatever reason. I'm working on it. Please bump this thread if you haven't seen anything on the forum after 3 or 4 weeks. I'm trying to build the forum up with a limited time schedule.......please bear with me. I appreciate your imput Terry

Terry A slideshow of pics is being created courtesy of "Calaf"....please bear with us. ....disagree on the LOGO front......but that's only my opinion.....nothing is "set in concrete" as regards forum appearance. We're still working on the best layout. Thanks for the input.....it's appreciated. Terry

Site is progressing well. Please don't get too carried away with bells and whistles - and keep pictures small and 72dpi - some of us out in the sticks only have dial up.

Bob, I'm a big believer in keeping things fast and light. (Contrary to current fashion amongst the iCool kiddies.)
Images will be 'shopped and compressed but I'd like to run it by you first, if I may, to make sure slow connections aren't compromised.

Things are progressing well - there seem to be many invisibles creeping in, probably for some reason after copying from the old forum. Find and destroy....

Question: If I go on holiday for 2 weeks how can I easily see all of the posts that have been made whilst I was away? The one problem I have with this Forum (and it's the only one) is that I can't easily see the posts I haven't read if I don't look every day for "Today's Posts".

The one problem I have with this Forum (and it's the only one) is that I can't easily see the posts I haven't read if I don't look every day for "Today's Posts". Hi Paul. The "view 10 most recent posts" is useful for half a day at the moment, I find. We could increase it, but if you are away for more than a day the best way is to login and you will notice the board icons will change from to if there is a thread that has been posted to since you last opened it. When you open the board you will see in the subject title of each thread with new posts. It would be nice to have a digest feature where you could specify a date to start from. Edit: I would add that if, like me, you tend to read the "10 most recent" list then the folder and thread icons wont register that you've read them. To remedy this, click at the bottom of the forum list on the home page to set the flags on *everything* as read, or you can do it by individual board.

Please could we have a Veggies/Vegan corner? There is a more flavoursome life out there!
