ok, i have been having some problems with making my oven.. so looking into the idea of buying one? does anyone know any good sites? reasonable costs ? seen loads on ebay? but not sure any advice ? thanks in advance

dont know... change the weather ? give me some sun ? it collapsed again but during the 2nd insulation layer ? first layer was dry and fired quite a bit but i couldnt do anything to it for a week and it caved in again. its a shame as i though as thought i was getting there with it...

It must be soul destroying when that happens ! What do you want to use your oven ? I have a Bernito Oven thats fantastic for Pizza but not what you'd want as a bread oven ! The other advantage with the Bernito is that its easily moved, and were always taking it places to cook pizza ! Any questions or you would like to see ours in action, drop me a email Muddy

thanks muddy, yes mainly pizza with high temp then as it comes down roasting etc. just had a look at the website for bernito which looks good. Rivergirl - yeah i did the sand dome, my Essex clay oven thread shows everything... cant bring myself to update the blog with collapse 2 yet!

did it collapse on its own, or due to water ingress from the weather? looks a nice oven from the blog / was a nice oven
