Hi Decided to make a breakfast/ brunch on Sunday past when the weather wasn't the greatest outside . One thing I always stress to people is when cooking outside in cold conditions is remember it takes so much longer to heat food and even longer to cook so take your time and turn on the heat or increase your fire size because you fighting against the elements . But it can be done and just take your time . ANd for the purpose of the Video I didnt take or look for much cover so find some cover from the elements also Hope you enjoy : youtu.be/9icSHscHlt8

Went to put a belly of pork on the Barbie to find the blizzards had blown a foot or so off snow in !! Spent all morning getting it off of the settees etc once I cleared it was too late to slow cook the pork so will stick it in tomorrow. We definitely will not be eating outside though its freezing!! Love your Barbie and hats off to you it looks blooming windy there!

Turkey , River girl. Hope this will all answer all your questions posted to me . Its a Skottel made by a company in South Africa called Cadac . yes its a lovely piece of kit . Every household in SA has one of them no matter how many other bbq you might have . Its easy to pack away in its purpose build carry case that comes with the purchase of the product and erect anywhere . They also have loads of other fittings and accessories some part of packages and other extra add ons that can be bought . There is also other models Like the Carri chef 2 that include paella pans and pizza stones bbq grill or bbq griddles . It was developed by farmers in SOUTH AFRICA that use to plough the fields . ANd the skottel or "skottelskaar in Afrikaans """" the round satelite dish bit"""" at the back of the plough that normally shines from ploughing the fileds . They use to warm this up on a fire or gas flame and cook on it and that how this product was born . Next time ytou see the back of a plough you will say to yourself wow neve thought of that but it makes sense . Unfortunately I dont work for CADAC but thought it appropriate to use their stuff in my BBQ class being South African and a sense of patriotism. Imagine that would be a ideal job !!!!!!!!! Getting paid a Salary to BBQ and have fun LOL . I took some photos in my conservatory of the Skottel broken up into its carry bag . and a link of the Carri Chef 2 below www.cadac.uk.com/products/product.php?pid=258 Attachments:

no thats a gas only . But they have options of small gas canister power packs or a bigger bottle . the small power pack is brilliant it takes 2 small canisters they dont have a actual image on the website but images of them attached to gas bbq will give you a idea . ANd the pack also has a handy cary handle . www.cadac.uk.com/products/product.php?pid=440
