Just got back from baking with my old aunty making traditional easter pies from north east campania region Top left is "pizza di ricotta dolce" using homemade ricotta, wow ( you just cant beat homemade ricotta) Bottom is a pizza di riso dolce which is a sweet rice calzone Finally on the right is the famouse "pizza chiena" which is made using the salame we made a few months ago together with cheese and eggs. You will find most italian households baking these today, get round and try some If you know anybody, you will live with the taste and cravings for these for the rest of your life and its even better washed down with a litre of homemade organic red vino. This is peasent food which you will never be able to buy from the shop or reteraunt, Millionairs can keep their money, Making and eating these traditional foods are what makes you really rich.
