There are two methods of adding an image to your post. You can A -- link to an external image that you have uploaded to a service such as imageshack or other server
B -- upload directly to this forum
Method A - externally hosted images 1- upload the image using the means provided by that host (will vary)
2- When composing a reply, click the button located on the second row of the tag icons (just above the smilies).
3- between the tags, copy and paste the URL* of the image
Method B - upload to forum 1- When composing a reply, click the "browse" button located just below the subject line at the top
2- browse to the file on your PC, Mac, iFad, iPhony, Android, Winphone or wotnot
3- select your file, which must be a .jpg, .jpeg, .gif or .png file. Note that the file must be no larger than 1Mb.
* How to determine the URL of an uploaded image? Below you will see a thumbnail of an uploaded image as an example. Click on the image to load the original. Now it will depend on your browser... in IE - Right click on the image, select 'Properties', hilight and copy the URL
in Firefox - Right click on the image, select 'Copy image location'
In Chrome - Right click on the image, select 'Copy image URL'
You can practice by replying to this post. Attachments:![](//storage.proboards.com/3403038/thumbnailer/UFdRW17h6nndWwIDVOsw.jpg)

I should add, please don't make your images too wide if you are using the ![]() tag for external images. If they are over 800 pixels wide then change the tag to something like: ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I am feeling so stupid... For the life of me I cannot see the browse . Under the subject line I can see attachment and under that message icon . I am just feeling so useless at my inability to comprehend the photo posting instructions".,......was hoping to meet up with someone to get the truly idiots guide!!
