BBQ left overs . Sorrry always seam to forget to take photos while cooking . So no photos of food but just some photos of the left overs. Well lovely steak and some left over sausages Also potatoes parcels. I make these with cut up potatoes from my garden . Each parcel has olive oil as major ingredient and then other extras in each diffrent parcel. One parcel with oreganum only another with fresh cut chillies , another with perri perri, another freshly chopped parcly from garden , actually made a few of these . Then wrap the parcel in Olive oil with tin foil

Looks great, love the thickness of those posts! What are they, 150mm square? I have two hammocks I've love to hang up somewhere, but because of a lack of anything pillar like in my garden I'll have to install posts myself, like you have. One day I'll hope to get round to designing something that will look as nice as yours and allow for hammocks! How have you fastened your posts to the floor? Are they buried/set in concrete? I can see some sort of bracket on the bottom of them. Keep up the great work!

Hi DuncanM
Yes they are 150 wide posts . at the bottom on one side i ided another 1inch fencing board to fit my brackets for 7inch as the post is 6inch . This meant I saved more than a Hundred €80 as its one inch times six post plus the lenght of eight feet
Brackets are galvanized heavy duty . They have another thick bar at the bottom of steel base plate that goes down another 50 cm deep in concrete below the 20 cm concrete base re inforced with fibers and steel. at The bottom of this 50cm galnvised bracket rod is another T Piece it will never move. two bolts to hold each up right post at the bottom and then connected to rafter stiffend everything up .
The 3 big rafters are 230mm * 80 mm and then roofing battons are 100*44mm . the winds are very bad here where i live on the coast of ireland and as mentioned I wanted to hang hammocks from the beams .
I have a solution for you . I seen a lad make his own custom galvanized post holders that he sunk in the ground to the size of his post with a little bolt ajust ment to tighten it up he also has caps to put on when the post arent there. ANd in the winter or when he isnt using his hammock he pulls the ;post out and stores them somewhere . But you will need 8foot at least to have to sunk it into the ground maybe almost 3 feet but not quite 3 as it doesnt matter what is the height of hanging as long if you have the distance to give you the most tightest position for the hammock but not to tight to mess with the hammock affect

Umhloti
What a class design!!.......your outdoor cooking area is turning into a true hacienda. I love your set-up and I love any outdoor cooking kitchen.....I am also guilty of bit of envy of "Rivergirl's" outdoor kitchen.....I think they're the bees knees.
I believe you're starting classes in outdoor cooking/BBQing this year and I wish you all the best in 2013. I still think you need a Wood-fired oven.....if I don't see one by the end of 2013....I shall come over to the Emerald isle and build you one myself!
After seeing your BBQ video's....and the wind you get at your location.....make sure you batten the hatches....well down.
