What a brilliant build thread. Thanks for sharing it with us. I like the neatness of the interior brickwork on the dome....you must have a lot of patience....or just be very good. I've built a good half dozen of these beasts and none of mine have turned out as neat as yours.
Looking forward to seeing the finished project.

If you're using a clay chimney pot I'd pick one with a cap or something to prevent rainwater hitting your hearth. Congratulations on your first pizza !

That pot looks just like the one i used in my build. I did fit a rain cowl as oven floor was getting to wet when it rained.

I finished the tunnel, arch this weekend and always solved my door problem. I cut a door out of some 1" fire brick material type stuff a kiln shelf I think.
